Chive blossom edible flowers have a mild floral fragrance and intense garlic flavour. Use to garnish platters, cheesy omelettes, sandwiches, salads, rice and meat dishes. Each 1¼”-1¾” sized flower has 24-36 flowerets - ½”-¾” - you can detach and use individually to garnish bite-size canapés/amuse bouche, sushi, side salads and molecular gastronomy plates. Solomon seal edible flowers taste sweet and juicy like sweet peas! A real treat. Oblong  1" - 1¼” with flared ends, they have a dainty bell-shaped appearance. Available mid to late May for 2 weeks. Refrigerates 3-5 days.
Sweet pea edible flowers have midly fragrant, 2 ½" orchidlike blooms which taste mildly of peas. Pair with bite sized canapes, amuse-bouche, cakes, cheesecakes, cheesy omelettes, cocktails, cupcakes, garnish platters, gazpacho, in chilled savory dishes, meat and rice dishes, molecular gastronomy plates, petit fours, salad, sandwiches, smoked salmon, sushi, tarts, and with cheese. Toad lily edible flowers resemble orchids in their appearance, with pronounced parts and striking purpleish spots. Measuring 1¼" long and wide, edible toad lily flowers have a mild and slightly sweet flavour. They will make a spectacular visual impact in your coctails or any other dish you plan to garnish, sweet or savory alike. Available from late August/early Sept to early Oct/mid Oct for 6 weeks. Refrigerates 7 days.
