Hollyhock edible flowers are large, intensely coloured, with a mild flavour a little like lettuce. Use 3¾”-5" hollyhock edible flowers as a whole flower as a centerpiece on a cake or platter, as a garnish for an oversized cocktail glass, or as an appetizer to stuff. Each edible flower has five heart-shaped petals you can detach and use individually to wrap bite-size canapés/amuse bouche and sushi, to cover an entire cake, or to decorate platters, cheesy omelettes, sandwiches, salads, rice and meat dishes, tarts and ice cream.
