Nigella edible flowers have lacy green foliage encircling 1½" - 2" blooms of white, blue and sometimes pink. Nigella edible flowers are flavourless but - slightly nutty aftertaste. Use to garnish coconut cake, centerpeice, cheesecakes, cheesy omelettes, platters, in chilled savory dishes, meat and rice dishes, micro plates, salad, sandwiches. Available from mid July to mid Sept for 9 weeks. Refrigerates 5 days.
